Hello everyone!
Over the next month, I have my a-level exams and so I'll be studying like mad. These exams are really important to me as I need a total of 3 A's out of my 6 subjects to get into medical school and so the pressure is on! Because of this, I'll be posting a lot less. Whilst I have a few tour spots scheduled to at least keep something happening over the next month, I can't guarantee that I'll be posting much else.
As a consequence, #SundaySeven will be put on hold for the next month and probably won't return until July. I will, however, hope to keep my bookstagram running, so keep following me there for some awesome bookish photos! I have also just started a studygram so for school notes and my bullet journal, go check that one out too.
Thanks to all this studying, I'm super behind on my book reviews too. In fact, I have a total of 3 that need to be written! I shall get to them as soon as possible, so keep an eye out for them.

#SundaySeven (29/05/16)
So this week saw me leave sixth form at DHSB. I've had a fantastic two years there (besides a couple major bumps in the road) and it's really sad to leave school behind. I'm now on study leave ahead of my 14 exams in June so I may not be updating the blog much next month because of that.
I actually had this started on Saturday night to finish on Sunday, but I was really sick yesterday so I apologise that it has been uploaded a day late.

Last week I mentioned that I had just seen a photo of Demmi's that would probably feature this week and look, here it is! This week she did her own little Rainbow Project and seriously, all of the photos are absolutely gorgeous! I very nearly ended up with a whole #SundaySeven dedicated to those gorgeous photos (although there were 9, so that wouldn't add up...) This one really caught my eye as I find it so difficult to take pretty photos of white books without piling loads of extra colours in, but she pulls it off so well!

I seem to be having a bit of a colours theme this week as we finally welcome Sammy, another of my favourite accounts, to #SundaySeven with this gorgeous brown photo! Five years of wearing a horrific brown school uniform really turned me off the colour, but I am drawn to this photo for just how seemingly effortlessly the colours go together. The Outliers is a book I'm very intrigued about. Have any of you read it?

Yep, I know I'm a sucker for these beautiful book covers, even though I don't even own the books themselves (they're on my very long list okay?) This stunning photo was taken by Leena, who has joined the #SundaySeven club. I love the olden feel to this photo and the page background just suits the style. Although the book cover feels a bit too modern to match the background, she's pulled it off in this photo and it all goes together so well!

The true path to a girls heart? Combine two of her favourite book series of course! Seriously, if you haven't read the Gone series by Michael Grant or Harry Potter by Rowling, I'd totally forgive you if you stopped reading this to go read them right now. Not only did the colour combination (oranges) catch my eye in this photo, have you seen that henna! It's amazing! Man, I want that as an actual tattoo. Welcome to #SundaySeven Emily!

This gorgeous photo of some of Riordan's books sees Eleni feature for her fourth time. Although I prefer the cover of my edition of Magnus Chase, I do love the colours on this one! In such a simple yet stunning photo, Eleni has captured the colours on the cover well and even thrown in some Percy Jackson which gives me a little feel of nostalgia as the first books by him that I read.

Nicoly constantly makes it into the shortlist for Sunday Seven, but has actually only made it to the top 7 once so it's with great pleasure that I give her the top spot this week with this gorgeous photo of A Court of Thorns and Roses! I'm currently reading this books and can see why the bookstagram community love it so much. I thought the British covers were pretty, but look at this one! I want to say Portuguese is the language? (Correct me if I'm wrong!) I think I've mentioned before how I also love photos of books in different languages, and this one is no different. And look at the colour scheme with the flowers and candles! Pretty sure I'm just rambling now but ahh I love this photo!

To wrap up this week, we have this simple yet stylish photo snapped by Elizabeth. One thing I particularly love about this photo, and her account in general, is that she really shows off the fact that you can take lovely photos of books without piling it with props and accessories. Sometimes, less truly is more. I do also really love her wooden slat background, something I've just tried out in my latest instagram photo. Granted, there's a small part of me that wishes the writing on the third book was red to make it all symmetrical, but I'm ignoring that. Just a great simple photo of some books that I really need to read.

This photo welcomes Alex back to the Sunday Seven. As you know, I'm a huge potterhead, and this photo is one of the best ones I've seen. Although the pinecones give this an Autumn/Winter vibe, it still looks super simple yet super awesome.

Caroline's account is a new discovery to me, but I am so in love with it! I love the colour purple and I love how all the little bits and bobs work together to create such a cute little photo!

Told you I loved this account! Purple and orange are not two colours I would put together, but this looks gorgeous!

This pretty, old looking photo is Anjuli's second time in my top seven. Not only do the colours work together so well, I love the map background too! As well as that, she managed to spell her name using just Pratchett books. Isn't that so cool?

With this being Demmi's sixth feature, I'm considering banning her account and just giving her an honorary mention every week for being too good. (Just kidding!) I have no idea where she gets her inspiration from. By going on her account to get the link for it, I've actually just discovered a photo that will probably be in next week's seven already.
On to this photo: it's so stunning! I love how the covers join together to match the picture (totally need these editions now) and the simple idea of throwing in lots of pretty shells just makes the picture something special.

First place this week goes to Ally again! Rebel of the Sands is sat on my floor waiting to be read, but I'm yet to get round to it. The cover though is absolutely stunning! I love this photo as it's so simple yet so pretty. Although the book is set in the desert, it looks so stunning in the woods.

Although only Mai's third feature, she has been in the shortlist every week since I discovered her account. She's currently going for this gorgeous theme involving the cushion and those candles. It's something so different compared to the usual themes on bookstagram. I'm a huge music fan, as well as a musician, so initially it was those cute bookmarks that caught my eye but that cover of Little Women is so pretty! Love this photo, and a great way to wrap up the post.

#SundaySeven (08/05/16)
I've had a pretty bookish week this week! I had a big book haul on Friday and got through a few books too. A review for Crimes and Retributions by Shirley McLain should be up some time this week. Although I have been slacking on my school work a little, oops..

Here we have another newcomer with this gorgeous summery Harry Potter photo! I know, I always say I'll try to feature less Potter photos, but sometimes I just can't resist. This is such a simple photo, yet makes me feel all warm and summery inside.

As her fifth feature, this officially means that Demmi has been in half the #SundaySeven posts, wow! Purple and blue are two of my favourite colours and this is colour coordinated even with her outfit! I am so in love with this photo and the way the colours have gone together so beautifully.

One thing I particularly love about bookstagram is how it is such a worldwide community; I love seeing photos of books in other languages. Maybe it's just because I'm English, one of the world's most common languages, but it just renders me speechless when I think about how many different languages there are and how many books have been translated into them. Sometimes I even find the foreign titles suit the books more! I also really love the monochrome colour scheme of this photo with the splashes of red to just add a little colour. Awesome photo Nicoly!

Featuring yet another different account, we have Sofia, who I've just recently discovered on bookstagram. This photo certainly continues the summery theme from a few photos back. This is quite possibly my favourite book haul photo I have every seen, and such a pretty way to show those new books off! Also, as A Court of Mist and Fury was released this week, it has been all over bookstagram so it felt right to feature it.

#SundaySeven (01/05/16)
Okay, so I totally didn't forget it was Sunday already or anything... But here it is! I apologise if it's not quite so good as I've speed-written it to get it done before bed time.

In this photo, Tasha has successfully combined 3 of my favourite things: a book series on my TBR, a piano, and her account! Whilst I'm a keyboardist at heart, I have learnt some piano and I love the feel of nice piano keys under my fingers. Another photo that's so simple yet so stylish.

Rike has such a stunning theme on her bookstagram! The Heir is another book I am yet to read, but am really excited too. I love the simplicity of this photo of just a book and rose against the wood, but it looks so pretty and royal!

As I read The Paladin this week, it only seemed right to have it feature in this week's #SundaySeven. Check out my review, only a few posts back! This gorgeous photo was taken by Ashley, who also really liked the book. In case you didn't know, a key feature of the book is the Perennial Stone, which is why the surrounding pretty stones add to this photo. I also love the wood background!

Clearly I have a thing for wooden backgrounds this week! I absolutely adored The Selection when I read it, and I love how stunning the covers for the whole series are! They seriously make any photo automatically pretty. However, here the ballet shoes have been added for extra prettiness. Whilst ballet has nothing to do with the series, the idea of gracefulness, daintiness and lots of dancing definitely appears in the series. Also, I used to do ballet, so I suppose I always have a soft spot for it (although I never got to the stage of wearing shoes like that!)

I love books, I love Funko and I love Harry Potter, but I think you already knew that! So the photo itself, whilst lovely, may not seem so outstanding. Until you realise that Pop! is custom made! Oh. My. Gosh. It's amazing! I'm really surprised they haven't done a Ginny yet but I imagine she'll be in the next series. Also, look how awesome those mini books are! Great job Sara!

I'm pretty sure I've told you before that these covers will appear again and again in #SundaySeven but is it any wonder why? They are so so pretty! Desperately need to read them! We wrap up this week with this lovely photo by Mai who, just like everyone else in this week's post, is featuring in my top seven for the first time! Edit: I have since realised Mai featured for her first time last week, sorry! Blame the tiredness. #SundaySeven (24/04/16)
So welcome to the 8th #SundaySeven post! (If my maths is correct!) Time is flying by rapidly fast, which means that exams are approaching. However, on the bright side, summer is also arriving, which means endless days of reading!
This week, bookstagram was full of outside, sunny Spring photos that brightened up my feed. In fact, a few sunny photos even made their way into this week's top seven!
I also hit a pretty big (to me) milestone on my own Instagram this week. One of my photos exceeded 100 likes and is actually currently at 126. Isn't it funny how such an unexpected photo ends up as your most liked?

Another #SundaySeven newcomer this week is the lovely Mai! This photo is absolutely beautifully stunning! I love the colour, and the blurred background, and that drink looks so yummy. I don't really know how to put it into words; this picture just strikes me with how outstanding it is.

And here we have Demmi for the 4th (I think) time! Seriously though, a quick glance at her fantastic account explains why she is a frequent bookstagrammer in the top seven. This photo is very similar to the one that topped the list a fortnight ago. The reason why I love it so much is how the notes look as if they have just fallen off the cover of the book and the colour scheme is so pretty!

Although often making it to the shortlist, we welcome yet another lovely account to the #SundaySeven club. I have to admit that I have never read The Jungle Book, or watched the animated film (or the new one just released) but this photo makes me really want too! I love how the decorative lettering of 'April' goes with the bookcover, and the addition of the matching coloured pencils just adds to this photo, making it extra special.

Tracey's 5th feature, wow! I think it's clear that she is definitely one of my favourite bookish accounts. Although, is it really surprising? I'm jealous; why do my bookish rainbows never look as outstanding as this?! Honestly, such a simple picture of just a book rainbow and matching pencils, but it's just so bright and colourful and beautiful! I may have to take some inspiration from this one.

Another account that often makes the shortlist but never the final cut, I'm so glad Maxi finally got his chance to shine! His most recent theme is collections of books that are all the same colour and damn, they look fantastic! As you can see, this one goes for greens and browns, two of my least favourite colours, but he has managed to make me love them!

First places goes to Lucy! I've recently discovered her account, and I am so in love with it! Her photos are stunning, and she totally deserves more followers than she has. I haven't read these books, but I just am so in love with the picture. I love nature-y outside photos, and I really like Lucy's simple idea of taking a snap of some books on a tree stump but it has come out wonderfully! Photos like this make me so excited for summer, when I can actually go out and enjoy the sunshine.

Another #SundaySeven newcomer this week is the lovely Mai! This photo is absolutely beautifully stunning! I love the colour, and the blurred background, and that drink looks so yummy. I don't really know how to put it into words; this picture just strikes me with how outstanding it is.

And here we have Demmi for the 4th (I think) time! Seriously though, a quick glance at her fantastic account explains why she is a frequent bookstagrammer in the top seven. This photo is very similar to the one that topped the list a fortnight ago. The reason why I love it so much is how the notes look as if they have just fallen off the cover of the book and the colour scheme is so pretty!

Although often making it to the shortlist, we welcome yet another lovely account to the #SundaySeven club. I have to admit that I have never read The Jungle Book, or watched the animated film (or the new one just released) but this photo makes me really want too! I love how the decorative lettering of 'April' goes with the bookcover, and the addition of the matching coloured pencils just adds to this photo, making it extra special.

Tracey's 5th feature, wow! I think it's clear that she is definitely one of my favourite bookish accounts. Although, is it really surprising? I'm jealous; why do my bookish rainbows never look as outstanding as this?! Honestly, such a simple picture of just a book rainbow and matching pencils, but it's just so bright and colourful and beautiful! I may have to take some inspiration from this one.

Another account that often makes the shortlist but never the final cut, I'm so glad Maxi finally got his chance to shine! His most recent theme is collections of books that are all the same colour and damn, they look fantastic! As you can see, this one goes for greens and browns, two of my least favourite colours, but he has managed to make me love them!

And to wrap up this week, we have this sunny little number from Emily! (Hey look, another week without Harry Potter too! In fact, a whole week of books I haven't read!) Simple yet stunning. As I said before, I'm really loving the sunny vibe that is now showing through with bookstagram, and I can't wait to snap some sunny photos of my own! The cover of this book is amazing, and I really love how the dark cover contradicts the bright background.

#SundaySeven (17/04/16)
I know it's very late this week, but better late than never right?
There have been some really amazing photos this week, which is partially why it took me so long to get this post up. I've also been doing a lot more school work, which is also why it took so long.
But before I go and watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I better get this post up!

This account hasn't been featured since the first week, but has made a comeback with this lovely photo of The One, a review of which can be found on this blog. I love the setting of this one, with the trees reflected beautifully on the lake. Plus the covers of Cass' books are so pretty too!

Ever since starting #SundaySeven, I have been waiting for Ashley to make the top seven. Not only is her account one of my absolute favourites, she is one of the nicest people I have met since joining bookstagram! A review of Throne of Glass is also up on this blog and, although the book disappointed me, this photo certainly doesn't! I just love the colours and that necklace is so pretty.

Unsurprisingly, here we have Demmi's third feature and many of her other photos made it to this week's shortlist too. All of her photos are just so colourful and eye-catching! Two things really made this one for me. One is the bookmark. I love adult colouring, and I love the idea of colouring bookmarks! The colours chosen are so bright and could lighten up even the most fullest of days. The other thing I love are the book covers; I need to buy those books!

I clearly cannot get enough of Lindsay's account. Third week in a row, and she featured last week twice! Her photos are always so beautifully cluttered and so stylishly done. Zodiac has totally made its way onto my TBR now just because of this photo. I really wish I could take photos as amazing as this!

This photo is Tracey's fourth feature, wow! That's more than half the posts! Whenever I even try to go outside, I never get gorgeous photos like this. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but Tracey clearly isn't! I love the way the glare of the sun is in the top of the photo, and I just love the tree that the book is nestled in. It's such a lovely photo; it really makes me want it to be Summer!

First place this week goes to one of my favourite accounts and someone who tags me in loads of photos, which is brilliant because I love book tags! This photo is quite a simple one, but simple can often mean absolutely stunning. I love the page background, which I'm sure I've mentioned before, but I also love the colour of the photo and that book cover is gorgeous!

#SundaySeven (10/04/16)
I've not been on Instagram much this week as I've been doing a lot of school work. With A-level exams rapidly approaching, and the pressure for me to do well enough to get into med school, I'm realising that I need to work a lot more. However, I shall continue to try and keep doing #SundaySeven and try to stay relatively active.
I am also looking for someone to co-run this blog with me. Of course, things shall change so that it is less personal to me, but I would really love the input of someone else to help keep it active and to add something a little different! If you are interested, contact me by leaving a comment, or by messaging me through any social networking site I have this blog connected to. I think running a book blog with someone else, whilst getting to know them, would make things even more fun!

Would you look at what's been done here? Let's mix books, my one true love, with another of my favourite things, Once Upon a Time, and my love of Funko's! Unfortunately I'm still on season 2, especially since it's been dropped in England :( However, I am totally in love with the show! (And Colin O'Donaghue is so dreamy!) I just love how cute this photo is!

Unsurprisingly, I think about 7 photos from this stunning account made it to the shortlist this week! However, competition is tough and this was the one that made it. Anyone who has been following the Sunday Sevens know that I am a huge huge huge fan of the shadow world! The Shadowhunter's Codex is an awesome book, especially with the little notes form Jace, Clary and Simon (although it really reminds me of the Harry, Ron and Hermione notes in Fantastic Beasts). I love Izzy's necklace too!

I cannot get enough of Eleni's account! Not only did she appear twice last week, this is now her fourth appearance in Sunday Seven. Is it any wonder why? I've nearly finished the Lunar Chronicles (I just have Winter left) and I am so hooked! I'm so glad it lived up to the hype bookstagram gave it. I particularly love this photo because of the cute little props that relate to the books. From the spanners for our favourite mechanic through to the glimpse of red fabric for Scarlet's hoody, it is all there! Anyone want to put any bets on Eleni appearing next week? Haha.

I'm a fan of cluttered photos, as long as they match the book cover well, and Lindsay has pulled it off beautifully!

#SundaySeven (03/04/16)
I've been very busy this week with some family from Cambridge being down and catching up on school work. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen that I've been to Tintagel (one of my favourite places) and to Geevor. I've also been busy with school work, which is why this post is a lot later than usual.

April first is, of course, April Fools Day and Lindsay posted this snap of her joke tbr. But look how beautiful that edition is! I totally want! As you may have noticed, I love photos full of little, random objects that compliment it. I just love the cards as well! I wonder if they have a meaning, or if they were just chosen at random. I love her account, and her more recent photo of The Paladin was in my shortlist for this week too!

I know, I know, I had a Lady Midnight spam a few weeks ago, but I couldn't resist choosing this beautiful photo of Jennifer's! For someone who hasn't read the book, the accessories are spot on! The jewellery makes me think of the Fair Folk and Mark and Kieran, and the sea shells tie in with the LA beach that the institute is near (and let's not forget that scene that occurred on the beach). Also, I do love the idea of using book pages as a background!

Similar to my second choice last week, I still clearly have a thing for rainbow books and doodles. My rainbow book tags always look awful, but ones like Sofie's are stunning! I may have to take some inspiration from this next time. Rainbow book photos always just make me 'aw'.

Twice in one week! Wow Eleni, your photos really are stunning this week! But how could I ignore this photo? (And those black page edges!) The only thing I love more than rainbows or accessories in a photo is more books! I also love the plant that's currently featuring in most of her photos. Eleni has featured before and, unsurprisingly when you look at her photos, loads of hers made it to my shortlist this week. In fact, I love this photo so much, it actually makes me wish I had enjoyed the book a lot more.
