Ally takes first place this week! Another recently discovered account, so this is her first feature. This photo is so simple, yet so pretty! The shoes match the style of the book beautifully and the whole photo looks so complete and tidy yet also rustic. Great photo!

In this photo, Tasha has successfully combined 3 of my favourite things: a book series on my TBR, a piano, and her account! Whilst I'm a keyboardist at heart, I have learnt some piano and I love the feel of nice piano keys under my fingers. Another photo that's so simple yet so stylish.

Rike has such a stunning theme on her bookstagram! The Heir is another book I am yet to read, but am really excited too. I love the simplicity of this photo of just a book and rose against the wood, but it looks so pretty and royal!

As I read The Paladin this week, it only seemed right to have it feature in this week's #SundaySeven. Check out my review, only a few posts back! This gorgeous photo was taken by Ashley, who also really liked the book. In case you didn't know, a key feature of the book is the Perennial Stone, which is why the surrounding pretty stones add to this photo. I also love the wood background!

Clearly I have a thing for wooden backgrounds this week! I absolutely adored The Selection when I read it, and I love how stunning the covers for the whole series are! They seriously make any photo automatically pretty. However, here the ballet shoes have been added for extra prettiness. Whilst ballet has nothing to do with the series, the idea of gracefulness, daintiness and lots of dancing definitely appears in the series. Also, I used to do ballet, so I suppose I always have a soft spot for it (although I never got to the stage of wearing shoes like that!)

I love books, I love Funko and I love Harry Potter, but I think you already knew that! So the photo itself, whilst lovely, may not seem so outstanding. Until you realise that Pop! is custom made! Oh. My. Gosh. It's amazing! I'm really surprised they haven't done a Ginny yet but I imagine she'll be in the next series. Also, look how awesome those mini books are! Great job Sara!

I'm pretty sure I've told you before that these covers will appear again and again in #SundaySeven but is it any wonder why? They are so so pretty! Desperately need to read them! We wrap up this week with this lovely photo by Mai who, just like everyone else in this week's post, is featuring in my top seven for the first time! Edit: I have since realised Mai featured for her first time last week, sorry! Blame the tiredness. Not only do I love the flowers in this photo and how they coordinate with the book covers, but I also love the layout and angle of the shot as it's different to what I usually see.

#SundaySeven (24/04/16)

So welcome to the 8th #SundaySeven post! (If my maths is correct!) Time is flying by rapidly fast, which means that exams are approaching. However, on the bright side, summer is also arriving, which means endless days of reading!
This week, bookstagram was full of outside, sunny Spring photos that brightened up my feed. In fact, a few sunny photos even made their way into this week's top seven!
I also hit a pretty big (to me) milestone on my own Instagram this week. One of my photos exceeded 100 likes and is actually currently at 126. Isn't it funny how such an unexpected photo ends up as your most liked?

First places goes to Lucy! I've recently discovered her account, and I am so in love with it! Her photos are stunning, and she totally deserves more followers than she has. I haven't read these books, but I just am so in love with the picture. I love nature-y outside photos, and I really like Lucy's simple idea of taking a snap of some books on a tree stump but it has come out wonderfully! Photos like this make me so excited for summer, when I can actually go out and enjoy the sunshine.

Another #SundaySeven newcomer this week is the lovely Mai! This photo is absolutely beautifully stunning! I love the colour, and the blurred background, and that drink looks so yummy. I don't really know how to put it into words; this picture just strikes me with how outstanding it is.

And here we have Demmi for the 4th (I think) time! Seriously though, a quick glance at her fantastic account explains why she is a frequent bookstagrammer in the top seven. This photo is very similar to the one that topped the list a fortnight ago. The reason why I love it so much is how the notes look as if they have just fallen off the cover of the book and the colour scheme is so pretty!

Although often making it to the shortlist, we welcome yet another lovely account to the #SundaySeven club. I have to admit that I have never read The Jungle Book, or watched the animated film (or the new one just released) but this photo makes me really want too! I love how the decorative lettering of 'April' goes with the bookcover, and the addition of the matching coloured pencils just adds to this photo, making it extra special.

Tracey's 5th feature, wow! I think it's clear that she is definitely one of my favourite bookish accounts. Although, is it really surprising? I'm jealous; why do my bookish rainbows never look as outstanding as this?! Honestly, such a simple picture of just a book rainbow and matching pencils, but it's just so bright and colourful and beautiful! I may have to take some inspiration from this one.

Another account that often makes the shortlist but never the final cut, I'm so glad Maxi finally got his chance to shine! His most recent theme is collections of books that are all the same colour and damn, they look fantastic! As you can see, this one goes for greens and browns, two of my least favourite colours, but he has managed to make me love them!

And to wrap up this week, we have this sunny little number from Emily! (Hey look, another week without Harry Potter too! In fact, a whole week of books I haven't read!) Simple yet stunning. As I said before, I'm really loving the sunny vibe that is now showing through with bookstagram, and I can't wait to snap some sunny photos of my own! The cover of this book is amazing, and I really love how the dark cover contradicts the bright background.

I know it's very late this week, but better late than never right?
There have been some really amazing photos this week, which is partially why it took me so long to get this post up. I've also been doing a lot more school work, which is also why it took so long.
But before I go and watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I better get this post up!

First place this week goes to one of my favourite accounts and someone who tags me in loads of photos, which is brilliant because I love book tags! This photo is quite a simple one, but simple can often mean absolutely stunning. I love the page background, which I'm sure I've mentioned before, but I also love the colour of the photo and that book cover is gorgeous!

This account hasn't been featured since the first week, but has made a comeback with this lovely photo of The One, a review of which can be found on this blog. I love the setting of this one, with the trees reflected beautifully on the lake. Plus the covers of Cass' books are so pretty too!

Ever since starting #SundaySeven, I have been waiting for Ashley to make the top seven. Not only is her account one of my absolute favourites, she is one of the nicest people I have met since joining bookstagram! A review of Throne of Glass is also up on this blog and, although the book disappointed me, this photo certainly doesn't! I just love the colours and that necklace is so pretty.

Unsurprisingly, here we have Demmi's third feature and many of her other photos made it to this week's shortlist too. All of her photos are just so colourful and eye-catching! Two things really made this one for me. One is the bookmark. I love adult colouring, and I love the idea of colouring bookmarks! The colours chosen are so bright and could lighten up even the most fullest of days. The other thing I love are the book covers; I need to buy those books!

I clearly cannot get enough of Lindsay's account. Third week in a row, and she featured last week twice! Her photos are always so beautifully cluttered and so stylishly done. Zodiac has totally made its way onto my TBR now just because of this photo. I really wish I could take photos as amazing as this!

This photo is Tracey's fourth feature, wow! That's more than half the posts! Whenever I even try to go outside, I never get gorgeous photos like this. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but Tracey clearly isn't! I love the way the glare of the sun is in the top of the photo, and I just love the tree that the book is nestled in. It's such a lovely photo; it really makes me want it to be Summer!

What's this? A week without Harry Potter? Wow! Instead I have this lovely photo from one of my new found accounts. I'm such a dog person and, although not a really planned out photo like those above, I will stop and always love any photos featuring your reading buddies! Plus the book cover is pretty intriguing too!

#SundaySeven (10/04/16)

I've not been on Instagram much this week as I've been doing a lot of school work. With A-level exams rapidly approaching, and the pressure for me to do well enough to get into med school, I'm realising that I need to work a lot more. However, I shall continue to try and keep doing #SundaySeven and try to stay relatively active.
I am also looking for someone to co-run this blog with me. Of course, things shall change so that it is less personal to me, but I would really love the input of someone else to help keep it active and to add something a little different! If you are interested, contact me by leaving a comment, or by messaging me through any social networking site I have this blog connected to. I think running a book blog with someone else, whilst getting to know them, would make things even more fun!

I knew from the moment I saw this photo that it would be in my top seven, and very likely the top one. It's such a brilliant idea for a photo! Demmi has, unsurprisingly, featured before (a quick look at her photos will tell you why). But seriously, I love the genius idea behind this - so simple yet so awesome!

Would you look at what's been done here? Let's mix books, my one true love, with another of my favourite things, Once Upon a Time, and my love of Funko's! Unfortunately I'm still on season 2, especially since it's been dropped in England :( However, I am totally in love with the show! (And Colin O'Donaghue is so dreamy!) I just love how cute this photo is!

Unsurprisingly, I think about 7 photos from this stunning account made it to the shortlist this week! However, competition is tough and this was the one that made it. Anyone who has been following the Sunday Sevens know that I am a huge huge huge fan of the shadow world! The Shadowhunter's Codex is an awesome book, especially with the little notes form Jace, Clary and Simon (although it really reminds me of the Harry, Ron and Hermione notes in Fantastic Beasts). I love Izzy's necklace too!

I cannot get enough of Eleni's account! Not only did she appear twice last week, this is now her fourth appearance in Sunday Seven. Is it any wonder why? I've nearly finished the Lunar Chronicles (I just have Winter left) and I am so hooked! I'm so glad it lived up to the hype bookstagram gave it. I particularly love this photo because of the cute little props that relate to the books. From the spanners for our favourite mechanic through to the glimpse of red fabric for Scarlet's hoody, it is all there! Anyone want to put any bets on Eleni appearing next week? Haha.

Second week in a row for Lindsay, and this time she is here with a beautiful blue photo. I've never even heard of the book before, but this photo just makes me want to read it right now! I'm a fan of cluttered photos, as long as they match the book cover well, and Lindsay has pulled it off beautifully!

I've been very busy this week with some family from Cambridge being down and catching up on school work. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen that I've been to Tintagel (one of my favourite places) and to Geevor. I've also been busy with school work, which is why this post is a lot later than usual.

Eleni has featured before and, unsurprisingly when you look at her photos, loads of hers made it to my shortlist this week. In fact, I love this photo so much, it actually makes me wish I had enjoyed the book a lot more. I just love the collection of items that match the book's theme and colours and the way it is just so fantastically done.

April first is, of course, April Fools Day and Lindsay posted this snap of her joke tbr. But look how beautiful that edition is! I totally want! As you may have noticed, I love photos full of little, random objects that compliment it. I just love the cards as well! I wonder if they have a meaning, or if they were just chosen at random. I love her account, and her more recent photo of The Paladin was in my shortlist for this week too!

I know, I know, I had a Lady Midnight spam a few weeks ago, but I couldn't resist choosing this beautiful photo of Jennifer's! For someone who hasn't read the book, the accessories are spot on! The jewellery makes me think of the Fair Folk and Mark and Kieran, and the sea shells tie in with the LA beach that the institute is near (and let's not forget that scene that occurred on the beach). Also, I do love the idea of using book pages as a background!

Also, Jessica is releasing her book The Paladin this week!! Totally going to get my hands on it when I have a little more money.

#SundaySeven (27/03/16)

First of all, I'd love to wish you all a Happy Easter! Have fun eating all those yummy chocolate eggs, or a good time going to church, or just have a fantastic day even if you don't celebrate this holiday.
I'm now on Easter break, which will sadly mostly be taken up by revision for my A-levels in only a few months time. I have, however, just bought a new camera to use for my bookstagram so keep an eye out for some awesome(-ish) photos!

What a better way to end the month, and spend Easter, than flicking through my favourite bookstagram photos of the past fortnight? (As promised, I considered the previous two weeks due to the lack of post last Sunday).

Kicking off this week's bunch is this beautiful Harry Potter themed photo. Including the first three books, just before things really started to get evil with the return of Lord Voldemort, I just love these editions of the books and that time turner necklace looks so beautiful! I also love the bookshelves in the background as they're just so colourful.

Look how cute this photo is!!! Seriously, as soon as I saw this posted, I just knew it was going to make it into a #SundaySeven. The stars are so cute and such a unique addition to this photo. And the colours are just off to add to the photo, without being completely different. Man, I'm just so in love with this photo I don't even know how to describe it, but I hope you can see why.

Belle's account is just full of so many stunning photos. It's one of those accounts that show that you really don't need a theme and a set background to pull off bookstagram. It's such a simple idea, yet she has pulled it off with style, the rose working well with the pattern at the top of the page. It also adds a nice splash of colour, without being too bold.

I stumbled across this photo when searching the #DitchThatJacket tag. Photos like this just remind me why I love love love hardback books without their dustcovers. Cait's photo looks cluttered, but not messy, and certainly gives off a really cute rustic feel.

Me? A thing for hardback books? What on earth gave you that idea?? (Besides the fact I just said I did). Morgan's photo puts all those rainbow books to shame, just look how gorgeous it is! I really love the inclusion of the multicoloured ribbons and, along with the candles and bright colour of the books, it just feels like a bookstagram birthday photo!

I love the fact that Dorothy and Misty run their bookstagram together. I totally wish I had a best friend to help me run mine and my book blog. This photo is so simply done, just throw a necklace over a book, but it looks amazing. The cover itself is so pretty and I think the way the necklace breaks the line of reflection makes this photo stand out.

Nothing says 'I love your account' more than the fact that Tracey has featured in three #SundaySevens now! (I promise she isn't paying for me to promote her haha). I just really really love her photos. Now that it's March, and after the gorgeous weather I experienced here in Cornwall on Friday, it really is starting to feel a lot like Spring. I haven't actually heard of the book here, but I just couldn't resist picking this photo for just how bright and Spring-y the daffodils make the photo.

#SundaySeven (13/03/16)

Here we are at the second Sunday of March, this month really is flying by! There was a point last night where I thought I wouldn't be able to do #SundaySeven this week, as I had a horrific headache. This morning though, I'm just left with a lovely sore throat, but with the help of numerous throat sweets, I have powered on to deliver as promised.
This week featured my most anticipated release of the year, Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare! I've been pretty ill, so I haven't yet finished reading it, but I love it so much! I think I could read shadowhunter books forever.
This week has also been a rather Potter week, and quite a few Harry Potter themed photos have made it into the top 7.
But now you can see for yourself, here are my #SundaySeven:

It seemed wrong to not have a Lady Midnight photo feature in this week's bunch, so here is my absolute favourite! I desperately wanted a copy like this, but by the time I had the money, they had all sold out! Ah well, better luck next time. But this cover is absolutely stunning (and I think it's signed too). Cassandra Clare and coffee, two of my favourite things. I hope you're loving the book!

I love Demmi's account! She is always tagging in for book tags, which I love doing (despite the fact I do let them build up, oops..). In fact, I'm even tagged in this wonderful photo. I love how simplistic yet eye-catching the white and black books are, and the hints of red just add a bit of brightness to the photo. And there's more coffee!

A recent discovery for me, Em has some really lovely photos! As a huge Potterhead, as I've mentioned numerous times, I love seeing photos of everyone else's Potter collections. (I have so much, I can't even display it all). However, this collection is neat and tidy, and I am so in love with those covers!

In fact, having a quick scroll through her account just now, so many of her other photos were in my shortlist for this week too. This photo was a really interesting take on the bookish triangle tag. I love candles, I love Harry Potter, I love Tracey's account. Any surprises there?

I discovered this photo this morning, and had to just sit back for a moment. How come everyone else can get these really awesome sunlight photos and mine always suck?? This photo quite literally took my breath away. The ray of sun, to me, looks like a glass sword, which obviously suits the book perfectly! I'm not sure if the muddy background adds to the photo or not though.

(My headache is starting to return, let's hope I can make it through.)

It's that time of the week again! Just like last week, I really struggled to narrow it down to just seven photos, but I think I've found a good way of doing it now. I think I have even chosen a completely different group of accounts this week, which makes things even more fun! And I promise, there's a lot less Harry Potter in this weeks bunch.

So, here is my favourite photo of the week! As you can see, it's very different from the top photo last week. I stumbled across this one when searching through the #conniggulden tag. I'm a huge fan of this series! I love the background to the photo, and the red rose just really finishes off this photo.

Funnily enough, second place is taken by the same book! It goes to show that sometimes it's not just what you do to the book, but what book you use. As mentioned last week, I desperately want to read this book, and I fall in love with the cover a little more each time. I'm not sure what it is that makes me love this photo, but I really enjoy the contrast between the city on the cover and the natural wood background.

I'm not a huge fan of snow, and I totally agree with Tracey that March shouldn't have snow, but I have to admit it allows for some stunning photos! I have seen a few snow photos this week, but this one really takes my breath away. It really feels like an isolated winter wonderland, and it just looks so beautiful!

England celebrated World Book Day this week, and so bookstagram was full of hundreds of photos of us celebrating our favourite day. This was made for a shop display and, whilst not the usual bookstagram post, it is absolutely stunning! A cute little dress made out of books? Yes please! Where can I buy one?

Fifth spot this week is also taken by a book with some petals! Shadow and Bone is another book that has been on my tbr for a while now. I've heard that the book is a mixture of horror and fantasy, and I think the roses and petals really show that. Some still look full of life, representing the fantasy, whilst others are withered and decaying, showing that a horror lies underneath. Great photo!

This weeks #SundaySeven wouldn't be complete without a Cassandra Clare book because Lady Midnight comes out in two days!!!! I cannot contain my excitement!! I love photos where a book is featured on top of a sea of open books, and this one really caught my eye because I am a huge fan of anything and everything Shadowhunters!

Quite a few of Eleni's photos actually ended up in my shortlist for this weeks post, but this one was the only one to make it to the top 7. Look at those shoes! I'm really not a heel girl and I don't think I could make it 3 steps in them! But the colour of the shoe matches the books perfectly, and it's such a lovely colour.
